Someone who knows

It must have been like the sting of a 100 bees,

When someone told you that your baby might never grow up to walk.

I don’t know how it feels.

But I know someone who feels your pain.

It must have felt like a dagger piercing your heart,

When he told you that he was fooling himself when he thought he loved you.

I don’t know how it feels.

But I know someone who collects your every teardrop.

It must have felt like you were standing in front of an immovable mountain,

When you got another rejection letter for a job.

I don’t know how it feels.

But I know someone who knows how much you are worth.

It must have felt like you were being torn apart by fierce lions,

When even your best friends were gossiping about you.

I don’t know how it feels.

But I know someone who would fight for you to death.

It may not be so hard to go to him little one, go to him,

You won’t have to explain a thing.

He asks for nothing- just your heart.

It may not be so hard to open up to him.

He wants you bad, But he will knock,

And wait and hope,

That you would someday,

Someday open, open your heart to him.
